Privacy Notice

What data is processed when you use CitationLedger.

Last updated: 30 September 2026

01. Overview

This notice describes what data is processed when you access CitationLedger (https://citationledger.org), a structured B2B data citation archive operated by BrandAnchor.io.

CitationLedger has no user accounts, no sign-up forms, no comment system, and no advertising. Visitors browse and read published data records.

02. Cloudflare CDN and Edge Processing

CitationLedger is served through Cloudflare as a CDN and reverse proxy. When you make a request to this site, Cloudflare processes your IP address, request headers (including User-Agent), and the URL you requested in order to route the request, apply security rules, and serve cached responses.

Cloudflare may retain these connection logs for a period determined by their own data retention policies. CitationLedger does not control Cloudflare's processing of this data. Cloudflare's privacy practices are described at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

CitationLedger uses the Cloudflare API to purge cached page content when data records are updated. This is an internal operational process; it does not involve any visitor data.

03. Hosting (Vercel)

The application is hosted on Vercel. Vercel processes standard web server logs, including IP addresses, for requests that reach the origin (i.e. those not served from Cloudflare's cache). Vercel's privacy practices are described at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

04. Data Records (Supabase)

Published data records are stored in Supabase. Public page requests query product and comparison data from Supabase. Supabase may retain server-side query logs that include IP addresses; see supabase.com/privacy.

05. Webhook API Routes

CitationLedger exposes internal API endpoints used by automation: /api/update-products (data upsert), /api/purge-cache (CDN cache purge), and /api/check-sources (source URL health check). These routes require a secret authentication header and are not intended for public use. Requests to these endpoints are processed by Vercel and Cloudflare; no visitor data is involved.

06. Cookies

CitationLedger does not set any first-party cookies. Cloudflare may set cookies for security and performance purposes (such as bot detection). See Cloudflare's cookie policy at cloudflare.com/cookie-policy.

07. Changes & Contact

This notice may be updated to reflect changes in infrastructure or operational practices. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.

CitationLedger is operated by BrandAnchor.io. The operator's legal identity and contact details are in the BrandAnchor.io Terms of Service.
